Introducing IN THE GUTTERS.

This is a new feature I’m working on, exclusive to my Patreon.

If you’ve been reading Bella Grey: The Grey Papers, you know the weekly strip moves the story forward from one scene to the next.

But comics have this interesting little space between panels called the gutter.

It’s the space where something happened… we just didn’t see it.

That’s what In the Gutters is about.

These Patreon-exclusive strips take place in the spaces between Bella Grey's regular weekly episodes. Maybe it’s Bella riding her Triumph across Brighthollow on the way to Faith’s lab. Maybe it’s a conversation that happened after we left a scene. A quiet moment at the firehouse. Something Molly discovered while Bella was somewhere else. Or simply a few minutes in these characters’ lives that the main story didn’t have room to show.

Nothing here is required to follow the main story. Think of these as little side streets—extra moments that let us spend more time with Bella, the characters around her, and the city of Brighthollow.

And unlike the regular Grey Papers strips, In the Gutters will stay stripped down: pencils, inks, and lettering. Usually…No color. A little closer to the drawing board. But sometimes I do give these the full color treatment.

So, if you want to check out more in the future, please consider becoming a Patreon member. Thanks, and enjoy this special episode of Bella Grey: The Grey Papers.

Let’s see what happens between the panels.

Take care,

-DT
